• Safety-related defects: Only two failed repair attempts are required
• Out-of-service days: A vehicle also qualifies if it has been out of service for warranty repairs for a cumulative total of 24 business days within the coverage period
• Filing deadline: Consumers have 30 months from the vehicle’s delivery date to file a claim

As of August 2024, Colorado extended lemon law coverage to vehicles used by small businesses for both business and personal purposes. Motorcycles, motor homes, and vehicles used exclusively for commercial purposes remain excluded.
